Hello lovies! It has been a dream of mine for a long time to connect with like minded individuals on causes that are important...to not only myself, but collectively as a whole. Since the never ending stream of Lockdowns last summer, I couldn't help but wonder just how many people were feeling exactly how I felt. Confused, lost, fearful, and longing for normalcy and connection. With so many emotions at play, how can we bring ourselves back to balance? It's no surprise that this year has been far better - and I hope it's been the same for you too, but that doesn't mean those feelings are over. In a world so over stimulated by instant gratification and connection, I think it's so important to embrace the emotions we are feeling, and share them with others. Everyone is going through something - always. I want everyone who follows me to know that true connection is possible, and this Forum will be a space you can feel safe expressing yourself with zero judgment, zero negativity, loads of positive reinforcement and LOVE. The Beatles had it right when they said, "All you need is Love,". Love is an action - and one that is so crucial to give ourselves and those around us. All we ALL need, is Love. This forum is meant to connect us to discuss our beliefs, thoughts, coping techniques, books, mental health, and so much more. Once you become a Member on my page, you can add new discussions, posts and you're able to personalize your profile page! This Forum has been an idea of mine for such a long time, and I'm so excited to see what comes from this. In today's world, we are so over simulated with the instant gratification of connection. I remember when I was 9 years old, using AIM Messenger as soon as I got home to chat with my friends. WOW HOW TIMES HAVE CHANGED!! In relationships in general, I've always believed that everything should come down to an open discussion. This is a safe space where you can speak your mind, obtain resources, and be FREE. This is not for internet trolls or negativity. Please refrain from this energy as it is not welcome here :)
